About our Pastor Reverend Ball was called by St. Andrew to be their Pastor and was installed into office September of 2008. Before coming to St. Andrew he was first the Pastor of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mitchell, Ontario. From there he was called by his Alma Mater, Lutheran High School North in Macomb to teach theology, which he did for seven years prior to accepting the call to St. Andrew. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO in 2000.
What to Expect We are so glad you are considering a visit to our church. On Sundays, we offer service with communion, adult Bible study and Sunday School. The service is at 9:00am and is a more traditional Lutheran service, featuring traditional hymns and liturgy. Immediately following service is a fellowship time where you can say hello to friends, meet new friends, have a juice or cup of coffee and a snack. Our Sunday School and Bible Class is at 10:30. Classes from preschool through adults are offered on a variety of subjects. We hope you will come and visit us. Here are the answers to a few questions you might be having: Where are you located? We are located at775 Kinney Road (M-19), Memphis, Michigan. You can find driving directions here.What do we believe? We hope to answer that question here. Welcome: You will most likely be greeted by someone from our friendly congregation as you enter the building. They will guide you and assist you in finding the nursery, your Sunday School class, etc. Children: We have loving care-givers for infants and dedicated teachers and ministry programs for toddlers through 8th grade. Middle School / High School: Worship and teaching is offered at 10:30am in the youth groups rooms Dress: Feel free to dress however you are comfortable. Message: We love using the Bible as our “text book for life.” You can expect practical, relevant, insightful messages from our Pastor. Offering: We take a weekly offering for our church family to give their tithes and offerings. Our guests should feel no obligation to participate. After the Service: When you attend for the first time and fill out one of our guest cards, you can expect to be contacted the Pastor the next week to discuss the experience with you, answer any questions you may have, and invite you back.
